You may be wondering what the big deal is .... why is it so important to support your Build Team through your donations?
There are several reasons:
1. The team with the most pre-event donations wins an extra hour of build time on the morning of the event. If they have planned and prepared well, that extra hour can give them a substantial advantage over the other teams.
2. Those extra donations also count as extra votes toward the People's Choice award, at the end of the day.
Example: $1 = 1 vote!
3. Last but not least, and maybe the most important reason of them all, is that ALL of your donations go toward Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity's mission, which is to build homes for low-income families here in our community.
