How can I help #BuildforUnity ?
It takes a community to build a community. Here is how you can be a part of #BuildforUnity
Pray: Lift Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity up in prayer for this journey, as we seek to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build unity, homes, communities and hope.
Give: Each #BuildforUnity home will cost approximately $150,000 to build. Before we can begin building, we need to raise $75,000 to fund construction. You can donate today as an individual or you can engage your faith community in pledging for for the #BuildforUnity
Advocate: Become an ambassador. Outreach and encourage other local faith, business, community, and government leaders to prayerfully consider partnership with Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity's work by encouraging them in prayer walks, builds, information meetings, and/or helping lead a coalition of faith partners in collaboration.
Outreach: Help find low-income families who are in need of decent, affordable homes. Are there families in your faith community that are interested in Habitat Home Ownership? Have them CLICK HERE to learn more about being a partner family and to see if they qualify.
