Habitat ReStore
This thrift store model relies entirely on community donations. Recycling these gently used items keeps usable materials out of landfills, provides our neighbors in the community with more affordable materials to maintain and beautify their homes, regularly employs roughly 20 community members, and supports our homeownership program with donated building materials and profits to pay program expenses.

🏠❤️ 22 HOMES. 22 FAMILIES. ONE INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE LIVES. This spring, Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity will begin building 22 new homes right here in our community. Twenty-two front doors that will open to new beginnings. Twenty-two kitchens where families will gather. Twenty-two places where children can grow, dream, and feel at home. But we need our community to help make it happen. 🔨 We are asking YOU to help us build. Every donation matters. $10, $25, $50, $100 or more can help purchase the materials needed to turn these homes from plans on paper into places families can call their own. Your donation can help provide lumber, windows, doors, flooring, roofing, fixtures and so much more.
