David served Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity as a dedicated board member for over 13 years. His absence is felt deeply by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him. Even in death he continues to serve the cause. David requested there not be a service in his honor. Instead, he asks all who knew him to please make a contribution to TMHH. We are eternally grateful. David will be missed terribly. May his legacy live on and may he rest forever in peace.

“My 1999 Honda CRV was my first car, and I bought it from a friend after I graduated from college. Thirteen years later, I decided to buy a newer car, and I wanted my CRV to go towards a good cause. I chose to make a donation to Habitat for Humanity in honor of President Jimmy Carter, who passed away last month. I learned about Carter’s commitment to activism when I wrote a book report on his memoir during middle school, and I hope that more leaders will inspire us to affirm one another’s dignity and humanity. I want to start by making a contribution in support of affordable housing. “
