Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit homeownership organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes. We advocate for fair and just housing policies. We provide our partner families with access to resources to help improve their shelter conditions. 

Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a durable place to live in dignity and safety; the idea that decent shelter and community should be a matter of conscience and action for all.

All are welcome! We have an open-door policy. All who believe everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with our mission work.
